VMware and ISO image
- Assign ISO image to your VM the way you install new OS using VM.
Note: you need to have ISO image loaded to datastore or somewhere VM can access.
Booting from CD/ISO on rhel7
- Boot from cd and on selection menu,
- Select Troubleshooting
- Then Rescue
- Then Skip when prompted
- and run at the prompt,
# xfs_repair /dev/sda1
